CUHK Nethersole School of Nursing 30th Anniversary Outstanding Alumni Awards
During the Community Caring Day, the School will present a number of awards to our outstanding alumni to recognise their significant contributions to the community and excellent achievements in their professional areas.

To submit a nomination, please download the Nomination Form and email the completed form to Ms. Sammi Ng at samming@cuhk.edu.hk on or before 30 October 2020.
Criteria for Nomination
Distinguished Alumni Award
Alumni are eligible to compete for this award if they:
- Are graduates of any bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral programme offered by the School;
- Have demonstrated unfailing support to the School; and
- Have fulfilled any of the following:
- Contributing significantly to enhancing the quality of nursing or gerontological practice/ education/ research;
- Achieving outstanding performance in nursing or gerontological practice/ education/ research;
- Demonstrating excellence in leading professional development in the respective workplace, sector or field.
Alumni Award for Outstanding Community Service
Alumni are eligible to compete for this award if they:
- Are graduates of any bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral programme offered by the School;
- Have actively participated in the initiation and implementation of health promotional or educational, or other health and social care community services in the community;
- Have brought positive and significant changes to the community through these services; and
- Have demonstrated unfailing support to the School.
Alumni Medalist Award
Alumni are eligible to compete for this award if they:
- Are graduates of any bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral programme offered by the School;
- Have demonstrated exceptional innovation or accomplishments in a particular field;
- Have brought positive and significant changes to the field, the community or the world; and
- Have demonstrated unfailing support to the School.
Alumni Award for Humanity and Compassionate Care
Alumni are eligible to compete for this award if they:
- Are graduates of any bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral programme offered by the School;
- Have actively participated in humanitarian aid activities or compassionate care services;
- Have brought positive and significant changes to the society or the world through these activities/ services; and
- Have demonstrated unfailing support to the School.
